President Donald Trump’s estimated net worth in 2018 is $20.7 billion, according to his tax records.
That means he has a net worth that exceeds the combined net worth of the heads of the Senate and House of Representatives.
The latest federal tax records, which were released on Thursday, show Trump is one of only five people in the country with a net wealth larger than the combined wealth of the president and vice president.
The rest are billionaires, multimillionaires, millionaires and billionaires with a combined net wealth of more than a trillion dollars.
The figures also show that Trump’s fortune has increased by nearly $1.5 billion since last year, while the combined assets of his two children, Donald Jr. and Ivanka, have increased by $1 billion since January 2018.
Trump’s total assets, excluding cash and other assets, increased by more than half in 2018.
That’s partly because of the tax deductions his businesses have taken to offset their expenses, the records show.
The president also had an overall net worth increase in 2018, rising from $3.4 billion to $4.4 million.
That number includes an increase of $1 million from a previous year.
